*looks at his photo and her stomach churns from missing him. Listens to a song that reminds her of him and her stomach churns. No one in her life knew how she felt and she must keep her mourning to herself. The ball of sadness in her heart is smaller and weaker but it’s still there.

*she feels guilty for bringing it up so often and being “sappy” ..... She is reminded that it isn’t sappy, It is “grief”

Memory - he started taking nature photos for me. I found two on my computer the other day. It caused my chest to tighten and hurt

*sits quietly on a chair by the fireplace. Looks at the flames. Imagines them together swirling and dancing among the flames

He had been so lost. She helped him find love and laughter in the last year of his life. She helped give him hope. In turn, she had hope for him and his health issues. She didn’t realize he would pass away so soon.

Feel free to vent about the frustration of life being taken away.
