Interesting that you mention this series.  I used to watch it because the guys are, quite frankly, hot.    It was entertaining, but their portrayal of all things 'paranormal' clearly is geared TO entertainment and has no connection to the truth.  Their supposed occupation of destroying 'ghosts' who are wreaking havoc is especially fanciful.  As long as people do not mistake entertainment for truth, all is well.  Even in the case of the 'Paranormal' movies, people take them to be TRUE when they are not.  So many people have only this type of reference when it comes to the paranormal/supernatural, and I think the best thing we can do is to correct their misconceptions whenever possible.  The knee-jerk fear that paranormal subjects produce, is truly unfortunate.
