For those who don't believe in God, what are your beliefs?

For myself, I'm not entirely sure how to label my beliefs, but they're mainly based on what I consider facts rather than faith.

There is a spirit world (maybe even several different ones) beyond normal perception. People can and do sense this in various ways, which is again interpreted in various different ways, depending on their beliefs.

Spiritual energy can be shared between people for various effects, often used for healing, though negative effects are also possible.
The methods of sharing and the costs (By which I mean any requirements - rituals, sacrifices personal or otherwise, etc...) involved vary greatly.

Though I've never actively practiced it, I'm an empath, which means I am able to sense things & emotions. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about it and see if I can have more understanding of what I actually sense and I'm sure this will affect my beliefs as I dig deeper into the spiritual world and learn more about it.

That's all for now...

Read this & expected to be reading your thoughts vying towards the scientific view, but nope you went towards the primitive. Surprise!

This 'thought', or manner of thought, greatly resembles the primitive views I've read a ton of times in religious history books. The belief that an Omni God, or one that is absolute, does not exist, but that a multiple of Gods exist, and these multiple of Gods require request rituals or even a sacrifice to fulfil wishes or prayers.

I have a hard time finding that they're both not plausible--to borrow from Mythbusters. Tongue If you believe in the primitive; you believe things you do or sacrifice will result in the God you've chosen, granting your wish or prayer. You may also feel spiritually empowered by your immediate surroundings with the inclusion of possibly a number of other people who share your same 'thought' & at times, your same "will" (or emotionally inspired thought) which you believe possibly may manifest itself through your gathered energy into reality. (This can be viewed from the big pic too as worded prayers To..add name here../rituals worded To..".., and that be that same kind of manifest.) So with the small & the big in that 'thought', it can be said that either &/or both can be manifestations of like-minded (like-willed) spiritual beings alive & not-but here-on Earth.

When I think about the "what of.." of manifestations such as that, I think of their survival rate. They're only "alive" due to the will of those that willed it to life, kind of like the bride of Frankenstein.

The other is similar in that it too has its prerequisites, even if considerably less. But varies in that spirits here have given that single God a will of his own, made him stand above them as Omni or absolute{everything, even judge. Still could be said to be a creation of the will.

I'm wondering whether there are differences, what are the differences, and what would that have to mean??

Might depend on who the true Dr. Creationist is. If these ppl were the true doctors..might depend on their legend or following. If they're Not the true doc's however..

If you will a thing to be that which it wasn't willed into being, won't it return to it's natural state as soon as it has a moment; the bit of time~space it needs in order to do so?

I'm thinking it will..as its will was likely established at its (plural) conception~Long before a mass of wills refaced it.

My belief is in the spirit world, i did use to 'read' people with psychic tools but ive sinced stepped back from that and i also believe through time and experience that ive met more unspiritual people that believe they are actually the opposite ! I belief in what feels right to me, i take peoples opinions on board but if it doesnt feel comfortable to me i will believe nothing until it does . I know there is life beyond the one we are currently in because i feel spirit around me alot . Ghosts ? yes i have a belief in them too but God or religion nope its not for me at all xx

My views on the concept of God are abstract.  Whether the force I believe in would be considered a God is largely up to opinion.  I'll call the force God, just for convenience.  I'll give the answers to some basic questions to sum up my views.  My views on God were developed mostly in solitary, so they probably differ from the views of other Transtheists.  I consider myself to be a Transtheist because it seems to be the philosophy that best embodies my beliefs.

1.  Is God alive?

It depends on how you look at it.  God is not a being, but God is the essence of life itself.  Without God, life and all of the characteristics that go with it wouldn't exist.  The universe and all of it's characteristics also wouldn't exist.

2.  Is God intelligent?

Once again, it depends on how you look at it.  The universe and all forms of life are formed by God, not through the process of intellectual design, but through a process similar to how the subconscious mind forms dreams.  The ideas still have to exist in order for this to happen, but the process in which the ideas are applied is passive, not active.  It's hard to say where the ideas originated from.  Maybe the ideas have just always existed.  Maybe it couldn't have been any other way.

3.  What is the ultimate purpose of life?

The ultimate purpose of life is to become closer to God.  One who understands the essence of life and the nature of the universe understands God.  One who understands God is closer to God.  In order to fully understand the essence of life, one must experience joy, tranquility, love, and other positive emotions.
