We admit and understand that the Purpose of the Universe is neither for good nor evil to convert it. The Universe exists not because of its greatest perceived successes, but for Advancement and Learning. By Advancement, we can achieve the spiritual furtherance we seek. We can choose to create together, to evolve together, to give to each other and to Love one another or we can choose to destroy, to devolve, to only take and to hate and harm others as we see fit. We know that co-creation ("We create.") and co-evolution ("I evolve you. You evolve me.") are self-sustaining forces and that all of the evil that can come from I-above-you is a self-destructive force. In the Universe, things do not exist as we wish they would. Instead, the Purpose of the Universe is a fight between good and evil for each soul. The state of the Universe is such that those having real power to change things here cling steadfastly to life, that clinging to life indefinitely is not only impossible but attempting to do so blunts one's connection to the spiritual realm according to one's length of clinging and thus intensifying the difficulty in facing death when it becomes inevitable. Because the most effective way to put off death for as long as possible is the miserly spending of available resources that remain, those with the real power will accept no other value system ("Resources are the good unto themselves."); furthermore, those with the real power are determined to exact the amount they deem fit and in the method they deem fit that they claim of one who has wasted their resources. Thusly, we give up trying to make major changes to the Universe because we will never see them come. Instead, in a vast sea of darkness, we resolve to do the good we can do, to achieve the victories we can, even if the victories are small. We strive to offer the best we can for the greatest spiritual benefit possible under our circumstances, to live peacefully and lovingly as much as possible, to learn and to teach, to give what we can and to seek an existence that allows us dignity and that is honorable and fulfilling.
