What do you think the purpose of the universe is? Is the purpose spiritual in nature? Are we here because we are on a spiritual mission of some sort or is it just one of the reasons why we are here? Or could it be the case that there is no reason for why we exist other than what science tells us and we should just not take spirituality seriously and live according to circumstance or is it sometimes permissible to allow spiritual guidance of the non-religious kind?

Please tell me your thoughts on this important matter. I know which one I am checking, but I am open to another possibility.

I am almost 50, this year..
In the last few years I have really been shown things and have gotten a greater understanding of things . I feel that the more we turn to God for ALL things the more we become enlightened and understand .. Blind Faith is a hard thing for many to grasp these days as they want something they can see and disect to understand ..
I think a bit of religion or rather teachings of the bible are helpful as it explains some things, even though i dont feel them to be exactly as the bible said ..Example : When the bible says to get to God we go through Jesus or the only way to get to the Father is by the son .. That can mean many different things and I believed one way all my life (to accept Jesus as personal savior) then came to a bit of a different understanding.. What if to get to the Father means we have to live our life as Jesus did ?!?! Totally dependant on God for all things??
Just some things to kick  around as I think we are always learning and growing .We will all find the truth out eventually I am sure about that
