He chose you... otherwise he'd be with her. Would you be with someone you didn't love? Who didn't make you happy? Would you make an effort to be civil with your ex if there was a child involved?  He chose you.

Im a miltary wife and i understand what your feeling.
My husband sails sometimes for 6 months at a time and works so hard
that he forget to write or call.. Which KILLS ME. and makes me so mad.
but i know that at the end of the day i have to be strong and have faith in him. Shur its easy to doubt and worry about things that i cant control
but i can control my love, hope and faith in him.

We have two little kids and boy and a girl who are both under 4 and so im at home with them 24/7 with sometimes not break for weeks and yeah im at the end of my leash sometimes and i need to take a few minutes and just let him scream once in awhile but once my husband gets home i just know that everything is going to be ok.
I trust myself and my emotions and GIFTS and i know without a doubt that if he did something wrong id feel it. Once he came home and touched me id know. And so far so good.. lol Cause he`d be a dead man if i felt diffrent but i dont. So all i can say is to trush him but more yourself. Because you know all the answers your looking for it just takes a little bit of digging to discover them.
