Long ago when I was first learning to become a medium and experimenting with EVP - my brother Joel used to help me out. He showed me how to load the messages I recorded onto the computer so that I could email them to people.  Then at some point thereafter, Joel said he wanted nothing further to do with talking to dead people.

Last week I wound up attending a funeral where my brother's wife Nancy lost her best friend Ayla to cancer at age 39. Ayla was also my brother's best friend Paul's wife.  

Due to these circumstances, I decided that I would guard myself against recieving messages from Ayla - as I did not want to cause my brother any more distress as he already had his hands quite full. I was on my BEST BEHAVIOR.  Working hard, hoping NOT to hear anything.  The funeral was last Wednesday.

On Friday, I have a house that I clean and I went over to set up to clean... while  MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS... Ayla pops in (despite all my efforts) and says, "My dad got home all right."  Ayla's father is German and had been in the US for the funeral.
I know she wanted me to tell Nancy that I heard from her.

When I get a message and I don't pass it along, it keeps coming back at me like a broken record . "My dad got home alright, my dad got home all right.." along with further tips and instructions as to exactly how I should explain this message to Nancy... That went on and on.

So by the afternoon I had had enough and took a bunch of cold medication and crashed out for a nap... trying hard to ignore and not be involved. I fall asleep and the message finally went away and the peace comes, that's because the battle of not passing a message is so hard. I woke up and thought it was all over... but as soon as I got fully awake... it came back again "My dad got home alright" followed by an Additional Message - "and my favorite part of my service was when Joel called me an Angel."

(When it was time for people to get up and speak at the funeral, only my brother did because no one else was able to.  The last thing he said was 'heaven must have needed another angel so that's why they called Ayla)

Then I had an even better message I was trying not to pass.  My boyfriend Mike gets home and takes one look at me and says, whats wrong. I explain this day long battle, what the messages were that came to me and he assures me, better not to tell them.

So I make it to Saturday morning, I can barely even focus on my job, both messages coming at me like broken records. And for all I know, I could have heard  incorrectly and her Dad could still be HERE as I haven't really given many readings since 2006! Finally, I just ask Nancy when he left  (I already had the fact that I recieved Ayla's message on Friday morning, My dad got home alright, with my boyfriend) and  Nancy said Ayla's dad flew back Thursday.

So after that, I just told Nancy what was said and when and explained how it's so hard NOT to tell that it's just not worth it. I also gave Nancy a link to a full episode of Long Island Medium- The Long Island Medium goes around giving readings 'on the spot' because it's so much easier than keeping it to herself, same problem that I have.  The Long Island Medium also explains in great detail that she has no control over when someone's loved one shows up and starts talking LOL!  I also thought this show might help Nancy in showing her additional examples of how loved ones actually live on after they pass away.

I also bought Nancy a used copy of Hello From Heaven by Judy Guggenhiem(that I got from Amazon.com, search books - Hello from Heaven) for less than a dollar.  That book is about having contact with friends and family who have passed without the use of a psychic medium.  This I bought for Nancy hoping that Ayla would then speak to her directly from now on, leaving me out of it so that I don't get into trouble with my brother.
