They very well could have great power, but they are not as powerful as Gods Angels .. I also know that all bad and negative is not evil some actually are good just necessary to learn lessons from .

If we are all given a choice, then maybe demons, who are associated with evil, also have the choice to change their path. But then, would a good demon be called something else entirely?

In my belief and I never force mine on others I will say from what I learned demons are actually made up of the 1/3 of angels that followed the fallen angel Lucifer. I found out that Lucifer is just as smart as Michael the arch angel as he was created in his image not gods. as in he is actually disgusted by our sins too but he continues to defy gone and he is very smart and he has what are his fallen angels-DEMONS which can do bad things,so I believe technically they are angels. but did they take on the name demon and renounce it that would be another good question for someone who has similar beliefs to Myself.

If you look at all religions there are demons. Most are derived from the gods that the people recognized. They are simply part of good/bad, ying-yang, theory. Where there is good, there is most assuradly evil.
Yes, most higher level demons are actually angels that fell, either due to their own ideas or through disobedience of God/dess. Just know this, demons are not to be trusted nor are they someone to work with. They should be avoided at all cost. Make sure you are protected against such as well. There are grey areas, but stay in the light. Blessed Be...Cindy
