I have some very good results with them. I would like to know if others here have used them and what kind of results have you had with them. Many times I've had the voices repeat words back to us. I've watched as a number of skeptics couldn't believe their ears as the words were repeated back to me.

Hi EVPman,

Great question.

Our paranormal investigation group uses Frank's Ghost Boxes frequently.

I think the results are wonderful using the Ghost Box, and during each 20 minute recorded session we capture immediate spirit responses to questions. It is very exciting work--to be conducting a session with 3-4 team members and each of us hearing the same response in real time.

Other Equipment:
For me personally, I use a WS600S Olympus handheld digital recorder. This recorder has a built-in USB plug-in; slides into my computer to instantly load/store/listen to recordings. I use Cool Pro Edit software to listen to recordings for EVPs.

The paranormal group I belong to--was founded 15 years ago. We are dedicated to research and education. We are a non-profit organization.

Besides analyzing audio recordings, I do genealogy research of clients properties prior to the investigation. I provide a written genealogy report to clients and our investigating team members before the investigation.

The genealogy research helps us "to know more about" previous owners names and their extended families names--possible spirit personalities who may drop-in or drop-by to participate in the investigation. Most of the time during research I find the names, birth/death dates, occupations--but sometimes I find photos too!

The genealogy research helps us conduct the investigation, provides valuable information when analyzing EVPs, and plays a key role in sharing results with the client.

I use a couple of the Olympus models too. I have 1-WS110 and four of the WS600 as well. I did use the RCAs a few years back when I first bought digital recorders. The Olympus models are neat in the fact they don't require special software to download the recordings to a computer as you pointed out.

I had the good fortune of being taught by Dennis Hauck in the use of sound methods and equipment for colleting EVP and ITCs. Over the years I've developed three teams, two in the US and one in the UK. We all use the same equipment and methods with EVP and ITCs it's amazing when we can produce the same results. I designed a contact system based on several things. The system uses two ghost boxes. The results are beyond chance when control words and phrases are used. I find this is a common mistake with a number of folks who use such things. A lack of control words. I will continue my research using such equiment until I find something better. I've seen a lot change over the last 30yrs with EVP and paranormal research.

We also employ what we call a "ghostlite" and the TLD 100 for interactive responses. I often see some outstanding results when we combine these items and use them together on investigations. Again, all three of my teams see amazing results at times.

I'm very interested to know how the TLD100 works??? I saw a pic, but I don't know how it works.

Can you explain more about your last paragraph . . . .

Is there a difference between the TLD 100 and a ghostlite, or are they the same instrument?

I saw one of your YouTube videos this morning. Very good information.
