I was told by Owlscrying to come here and and look for fldragon to help???

Recently since moving into a new house 2 weeks ago, have been experiencing... unusual things. Such as, my lamp light is flickering during the night. Glasses and plates move on their own. This morning I woke to my front door being wide open. Story was my mother left the house with my brother for 2-5mins. When she left, the front door was securely locked and closed. She was up for several hours before going out and not once did it previously happen. Neither my mother nor brother went outside the door. I feel as thou im constantly being watched, causing me to turn around and check every few mins. I hear a sound which i seem to think sounds exactly like my brother placing his car keys on the glass table in the hallway -- when he isnt home. My cat seems to act strangely at times, attacking thin air and showing fear towards nothing. I have always seen shadows and such but have come up with excuses for all these things.

Cups and plates moving = gravity
Shadows = imagination
Flickering lights = bad connection (thou after checking all the power points i realise i was wrong...)

But, I cant explain how my locked front door has managed to open on its own... This is all really starting to worry me.

Anyone have any ideas as to whether im just being stupid or whether it might be real..?

Im on the south east coast of Queensland. Its not very humid here atm. It has been raining for 2 weeks approximately. Why has it only happened now?

And, what of the other things? I also forgot to mention that I hear footsteps in my roof. But, I live in a single story house. The sound is the same as what I used to hear in my old house which was double story. The footsteps are loud, then fade and vice versa. Indicating that its moving futher away.
