It would be hard to come by, physical evidence, considering the fact that things have changed so much since the last time we were on this earth and most of the time, it consists of some hard earned researching.

First off I'd say try to figure out your name and where you were last alive (locations are very important, if you can a place of birth might be even better). Once you have those begin to research them as much as possible, even getting into contact with a place which might store archives on things from back then (I would say a birth certificate might be easy to come by because it was so far back but unless you have a location, it would be hard to figure out anything about yourself).

When I helped Falcon with her past life memories (I did what you want to do I guess, didn't help her remember them just tried to find pictures and names for her to remember or which corresponded with what she was saying moreso) I went on names and locations which then turned into a whole lot of other proof that the things she saw and remembered were actually real and existed in the places she said they did.

Locations and names, very important in researching a past life. If you don't remember them, try to immerse yourself in the 40's/50's with music and pictures online. It might jog your memory.  

Hypnotherapist is the best choice anyone can make in trying to regress because they actually produce quite good results whereas we can do the exercise and achieve very little sometimes which can be daunting.

Wow talking to past family members? that must be hard both ways really. I could never imagine talking to my children or grandchildren or family members about it, it would be far too weird for my liking, but I guess for an affirmation that this did really happen, it can help loads.
