I'm not sure where to start exactly.  I met someone who says has an attached ghost.  She and others have physically seen him before.  She knows his name, what he looks like, when he died...things like that.  He is not physically harming her in any way shape or form.  More just around her most of the time.

On occasion she and her boyfriend will get into fights and the attached ghost will actually attack her boyfriend, physically harming him at times.  The boyfriend has the house blessed at least once a month yet the ghost is still around.  She doesn't mind that he is around, so doesn't do much to get rid of him.

I wanted to give a little background to ask this question.  With an attached ghost, is it possible for the ghost to "take over the human body" for a day?  I know this is a weird out there question, but I'm just a little worried.  

My friend goes to work during the week days, and /always/ texts me.  This morning, I got up late and hadn't heard from her.  I started texting her throughout the day and didn't get a text until around 2 this afternoon, when I texted just her name.  The text is what caught me off guard.  For privacy, let's say my friend's name is "Kat".
All i did was text the following.  "Kat?"  This was sent after 7 texts throughout the day.
This is what I got as a reply.  "Please don't get upset that I have borrowed a day to myself. Kat will be back this evening.  it's rare I get time to myself."  

That being said, she is the only one to use that cell phone as it is hers.  She always has it on her.  Her boyfriend has his own...

I replied with "Okay.  Not mad.  As long as she is okay.  Ask her to get ahold of me later tonight then please.  Even just for a few."

Not only did she speak in third person about herself, but the writing of the text is /totally/ different.  When she texts, normally there are not apostrophes, while in the texts I received did.  The first words of every sentence in the replies I got were capitalized.  "Kat" doesn't cap her letters.  

I might just be overreacting a little, but I'm just a little worried about her.  I thought finding someone who I could talk to and ask questions would be easier than looking things up on the internet.  If I can better understand things about attached ghosts, maybe that would help things.  Anyway...That's it.  

I have a class to go to in about an hour that will last for about 2 and a half hours.  When I'm able to, I will be back on to see if there is a reply.  Hope to speak with you soon.

I'm not displacing anything you said, but are you sure she does not suffer from multiple personality disorder?  There is a fine line between what some people believe to be possession and MPD.
