As a religious person I find it difficult to believe in aliens.  The Bible says that on the seventh day he made man.  That was pretty much it.  

As a scientific thinker, I find the very idea that we might be alone in the universe absolutely ridiculous.  Even if we are a "cosmic accident" as most scientists would suggest, the universe has thousands of planets revolving around thousands of stars in millions of galaxies.  No statistician in the world would argue against odds like that, especially when you consider that the universe has had many billions of years to reproduce the conditions in which it could reoccur.  Logically, there must be at least one other form of life out there.  

Whether or not such a form of life would be able to reach Earth is the real question, isn't it?  If you believe the evidence, it's been happening for thousands of years, and continues to this day.  If you don't, you could probably shake hands with an alien and ride on his ship and still say it never happened.  The evidence, in my humble opinion, is simply overwhelming.  I've never seen an alien, but I am sure they exist.  Either that, or airline pilots, military pilots, police officers, and everyday witnesses are all crazy and have no idea what they're talking about.  If eyewitness evidence is accepted in a court of law, the scientific community should give it a bit more respect.  But that's another subject...

The question isn't weather they are here or not ? Its pretty much been established that something is. The question is who are theyt ? And why are they here ? They have been around since the begining of man. Kinda makes ya wonder if maybe we are their creations ?

Personally i always find it strange when people say earth is the only place with conditions to live. Surely aliens may not be the same as us, and maybe need totally different conditions, it just always strikes me as odd that people presume life from a different planet would be similar to life on earth... i suppose it is difficult to imagine any different, but it always baffles me as to why this is presumed.
I do believe in Aliens, and i do believe that the powers that be already know all about them. And knowing the idiots that run the planet are probably already underway with a million war based plans to destroy them ,because thats the only way Humans (well, the people that control us) know how to communicate.
