I believe our guides can be a relative, although I believe it to be rare. But trust that your guide chose you as much as you chose him or her long before you entered this life. Therefore it is quite a special bond between guide and their person. I think that makes us special to have been chosen and waited for until birth.

i always wanted to know my spirit guid it's hard to calm my mind i guess alot of all you people are able to connect with them i am hoping to bump in with someone who can shed some light on how..

I belive the more meditation you do the better your conection will be with your guide.There are guided meditations out there that will link you to your guide ( they do work). When your guide is ready to comunicate with you you will get a thig we call a calling card it could be anything from someone tickling your nose to a smell. When my guide is around i smell tobacco he`s a Native American then he lets the spirits tell me things it`s realy good when you get used to it but it can be a bit frightening at first thats why they like to use a calling card so you know they are there. Hope this makes sense to you  

i did take part in a few development classes and i believe i have spoken to my spirit guide a few times, never see his face just hear a deep  smooth voice
